“Please Don’t Release The Epstein Files!” (Or throw me Into the Briar Patch)

Though it’s now fallen into disrepute for political reasons, one of my favorite books as a child was “Uncle Remus and His Tales of Brer Rabbit.” As a seven year-old, I don’t remember being taken to see the Disney Movie: “Song of the South.” But I do remember my father reading this book, sometimes nightly, with his amazing vocal skills, creating character voices that endeared Uncle Remus – and all the other personalities in the book to me. How fondly I remember hearing my favorite story: “Brer Rabbit and the Tar Baby!” As the story goes, Brer Fox (Brother Fox) made a baby of Tar one day and put a child’s clothes on it.  His nemesis, Brer Rabbit (Brother Rabbit), walks by and seeing the Tar Baby – eventually gets stuck to it, ultimately becoming the prisoner of Brer Fox. You need to know, Brer Rabbit routinely outsmarted Brer Fox, in an ongoing contest between them. Finally, this was Brer Fox’s opportunity to get even with that rascal, Brer Rabit. So,when Brer Fox came up to Brer Rabbit – stuck to the Tar Baby, he says:

“ ‘You just jammed yourself on that Tar-Baby without waiting for any invitation,’ said Brer Fox. ‘And there you are, and there you’ll stay until I fix up a heap of brushwood and make a fire, cos I’m going to barbecue you today for sure,’ said Brer Fox. So, Brer Rabbit talked in a mighty humble way. ‘I don’t care what you do with me, Brer Fox,’ said Brer Rabbit. ‘Just don’t fling me in that briar patch over there. Roast me, Brer Fox, but don’t fling me in that briar patch,’ said Brer Rabbit. ‘It’s so much trouble to start a fire,’ said Brer Fox, ‘that I think I’d rather hang you.’ ‘Hang me just as high as you please, Brer Fox,’ said Brer Rabbit, ‘but for Lord’s sake don’t fling me in that briar patch.’ ‘I don’t have any string,’ said Brer Fox, ‘so I think I’d rather drown you.’ ‘Drown me just as deep as you please, Brer Fox,’ said Brer Rabbit, ‘but for Lord’s sake don’t fling me in that briar patch.’ ‘There’s no water nearby,’ said Brer Fox, ‘so I think I’d rather skin you.’ ‘Skin me, Brer Fox, snatch out my eyeballs, tear out my ears by the roots, and cut off my legs,’ said Brer Rabbit. ‘Only please, Brer Fox, please don’t throw me into the briar patch.’  ‘It’s not going to be much fun skinning you,’ said Brer Fox, ‘you’re not scared of that. But you are scared of the briar patch.’ And with that, Brer Fox yanked Brer Rabbit off the Tar-Baby, and he flung him - KERPLUNK!- right into the briar patch. Well, there was a flutter where Brer Rabbit landed, then ‘Ooo! Oow! Ouch!’ he screeched and he squalled. Then after a while, there was only a weak whisper from Brer Rabbit. Brer Fox listened. ‘I got him! Brer Rabbit is dead!’ said Brer Fox.  But then he heard a scuffling away at the other end of the briar patch. And low and behold, who does Brer Fox see scrambling out but Brer Rabbit himself, playing a briar bush whistle. ‘Born and bred in the briar patch, that’s me,’ laughed Brer Rabbit. ‘I told you not to throw me there. Since May of 2025, the Epstein Files have become an “albatross” around Donald Trump’s neck. During his presidential campaign in 2024, Trump had promised repeatedly that he would ‘release the Epstein Files’ and bring all the people to justice who had treated underage girls like garbage, while running covert playboy trysts and blackmail scams – not necessarily for the good of the United States – but mostly for themselves and their own power. Jeffrey Epstein was the perfect “boogeyman.” The need for Jeffrey Epstein to pay for his crimes appealed to people on both the Right and the Left – revealing elements of ‘sex, crime, espionage and corruption’ – and even righteous indignation from the ‘Me Too’ movement! But then the whole move to Release the Epstein Files was scrubbed, and Attorney Pam Bondi from the Department of Justice along with Kash Patel from the FBI told us there was nothing to reveal – and Epstein actually committed suicide. This “appeared to be the first blunder” of the Trump Administration’s juggernaut of “wins!” To date, no one knows for sure how this all went down, especially what the Trump Administration had orchestrated. Was there new information that only became known as the Trump Team was able to review the actual files the FBI possessed?  Or, was this another demonstration of Trump playing 4D Chess with the Deep State Democrats? During the Biden Presidency, there was no effort to release the Epstein Files. In fact, Democrat judges and politicians had blocked any effort to unseal them. Personally, I believe that it’s really God’s Providence that has allowed events of this past year to develop to the point where: Trump was able to get the Democrats to clamor for the “Release of all the Jeffrey Epstein Files” and other related documents – which now have besmirched many Globalist Deep State and Democrat Actors like Bill Gates, Mick Jagger, former Democrat Governor – Bill Richardson, Bill Clinton, Larry Summers and Prince Andrew, to name a few. Having been on Epstein's Island or airplance is not evidence of sexually abusing children, but it’s clearly Globalist Deep State Democrats and RINOS who have received the worst of it. And Donald Trump has been thoroughly “Vindicated” from the steady drum beat of “innuendos and slurs” from the Legacy Media!

We may know more at some point, but it does appear that the incoming Trump Administration had Overpromised, and then, facing the reality that the Epstein Files had been scrubbed, Underdelivered!  Again, by God’s Providence – once Trump appeared to be ‘holding back on releasing these files,’ and directly posting on social media that the whole Epstein saga was a “diversion by the Democrats” – the Deep State Legacy Media "smelled blood in the water” and clamored – along with many other Democrat politicians – for their release. They didn’t know the real bombshells in the Epstein Files would “Vindicate Trump!" First, the files revealed that Jeffrey Epstein worked with far-left author and journalist, Michael Wolff to try and falsely take Trump down. Trump is actually threatening to sue Wolff. Wolff has been a “nemesis” to Trump for many years, having written a “tell-all book” from insiders during Trump’s first Administration. Second, It turns out that Jeffrey Epstein hated Trump – probably because Trump threw him out of Mar-a-Lago in 2003 after Epstein was caught hitting on young female employees for sex. Third, it turns out that Trump actually was one of the first people to call the Palm Beach Police in 2003 as a “whistleblower” to report untoward behavior by Jeffrey Epstein. There could not have been a more beneficial outcome of releasing the Epstein Files!  In the cesspool we call Washington D.C., honest journalism is truly rare. So, for the past nine months the Legacy Media and their comrades in the Democrat Party, have ‘verbally assassinated’ Donald Trump with ‘innuendos and false narratives.’ Their narrative is that Trump was involved with Epstein on his Island, and had sexually abused underage children. While they will no doubt still peddle their lies to the “low-information voter” who is terminally ill with TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), the vast majority of Americans will now learn the truth:  Donald J. Trump was not involved with Jeffrey Epstein – except in some social gatherings. Trump believed that Epstein was a weirdo and pervert, and ceased all contact with him!

Interesting, but now that the first huge batch of documents has gone public, Democrats are now whining and working behind the scenes to prevent another huge batch from coming out. If Trump did plan this – it’s complete genius! Right after Trump criticized what was “in the files,” the State Controlled Legacy Media” smelled blood in the water – hounding Trump to “release the Epstein Files,” all because they sensed Trump “had something to hide!” I can imagine Brer Trump saying: “You can indict me 91 times, arrest me, even convict me of a felony for a clerical crime by one of my accountants, But Please Don’t Force Me to Release those Epstein Files!” Or how about this?  “You can try to assassinate me twice on live T.V., and even try to take me off the ballot in 30 states, or even change New York’s statutes to allow a certifiably crazy old spinster of raping her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in 1995 or 1996, But Please Don’t Force Me to Release those Epstein Files!” I’m not categorically stating that these new revelations are going to lead to any convictions or to Democrat or RINOS being removed from office. Most people in the know have stated that any “incriminating evidence of wrongdoing has long since been scrubbed from the Epstein Files as they now exist.”  Republican Congressman James Comer has said as much many times – and he is the head of the Congressional Oversight Committee. It stands to reason that the Department of Justice under Biden would “gladly have made known” any actual evidence of Trump crimes while they controlled the DOJ. And it’s also clear that they would have made sure that all their Deep State cronies – who actually had committed crimes against children – would be protected. That’s just what the Lawless Deep State does.

Recently, more information is coming out about Jeffrey Epstein.  It is now is very probable that he was an “intelligence operative” working with the CIA and Israeli Intelligence. And while he was running a “honey-pot” operation on Epstein Island and other locations, he was also a high level “fixer” and “financeer.”  He was a “worldly-wise man” as John Bunyan named one of the nefarious figures in his book, Pilgrim’s Progress. What’s really sad was Jeffrey’s demeaning behavior toward others – all to make money. 50 years from now we still may not know who he really was, or what his role was with the U.S. Government. Many have long believed that the “Jeffrey Epsteins of the world” will never be brought to justice. There are many people who believe that Bill Barr – the Attorney General of the United States in 2019 – either helped to have Jeffrey killed or helped to fake his death. Either way, it would get him out of the reach of justice and prevent him from revealing the dirty dealings of the “Elite-Political-Financial-Class.”  Bill Barr’s father – Donald Barr, was part of the OSS, the forerunner of the CIA. It was Donald Barr who hired Jeffrey Epstein in the 1970’s to teach at the Dalton School. And Bill Barr himself was in the CIA during his early career, so it’s not beyond the pale to imagine that there is possible corruption and collusion going on – at the highest levels of government!  This is the legacy of the “intelligence community,” not just here in the United States – but in every country on earth!

The really good news is what Jesus Himself taught us: “There is nothing secret, which will not be made clear, nor is there anything hidden, which will not be known and be brought into plain sight” (Luke 8:17). There will be a day when ‘the Books will be opened’ (Revelation 20:12), and God will judge the secrets of men in righteousness. Whether Jeffrey Epstein is currently alive or dead, on that day he will give and account, standing before the 'righteous' judge of all.’ What we can hope and pray for is, that ‘righteousness will once again become the standard in the land,’ and that citizens of this once great nation will again demand that our leaders act with integrity, living right before God, and each other!
