The Democrats’ Dilemma: Their Mask of Compassion is Off For Everyone to See!

“Democrats Just Can’t Govern – They’re Only Good at Power and Corruption”

Since President Donald Trump Federalized our nation’s Capital, Washington, D.C., on August 11, 2025, several rapid-fire events have happened across these United States that fully display the Democrats’ Dilemma:  They are good at politics and power, but “Just Can’t Govern!” I know this may sound like an idle boast, but it’s absolutely true! Show me any place where the Democrat Party is in power, and I’ll show you a bastion of “corruption, nepotism, cheating, dysfunction, crime, homeless and hopeless people.  All are enslaved in Democrat-run inner cities, and completely inept politicians, lying daily through sycophant media outlets – blaming all of the ills they’ve created on Republicans or Donald J. Trump! I’m not sure which is more amazing, their inability to effectively govern anything – or their incessant denials and lies about the causes of the problems their own policies have created!

For those who consume politics, it should be clear that the same problems the Democrats run on – in each election cycle – Never Get Better!  While complaining about both political parties not doing anything for the poor, NBA Star Charles Barkley commented in 2015: “You know black people have been voting Democratic their whole life and they’re still poor.”  Fact is, since Lyndon Baines Johnson’s “Great Society” waged a “War on Poverty” starting in 1965, “Democrats and RINO Republicans have spent Trillions of dollars on so-called poverty programs – with absolutely “nothing to show for it.” The good news is, that people are finally waking up to the scam: “Democrats Never Fix Anything or Solve Any Problems. They just need dependent, broken people – with numerous problems – to vote for them, all the while promising to help and relieve their suffering.” When you ask the people in the inner-city ghettos the Democrats have created, they’ll tell you that the Democrats are always missing in action – until they want their vote. 

This is the “modus operandi” of the Democrat Party’s Political Machine: “Decry an issue, ask for more Federal money to fix the problem, blame Republicans if anyone notices their hypocrisy or that their policy fixes never work, and the problems keep getting worse.” Let me provide three examples regarding three of the biggest issues of our time: 1.) Illegal Immigration, 2.) Inner City Crime, and 3.) Free Speech as protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.  Let me state at the outset, that Democrat Leaders for the most part don’t really believe in any of these issues, they are just battering rams with which to pummel traditional American values and usher in their Marxist Utopia!  Issue #1.) Illegal Immigration really should be re-named “Illegal Voter Registration” because that’s the real intent behind this issue.  “Democrats don’t care anymore about Third World Immigrants than they do about inner-city African Americans.” The latter have been relegated to a complete afterthought.  As a voting bloc, most Illegal Immigrants immediately go on a Welfare Program or Social Service when they arrive. Often, they are immediately given a Driver’s License so they can register and vote. Anyone who complains about the “unvetted illegal invasion” of “Replacement Voters” is immediately denounced as a “Racist! 

But what’s ironic is: Very late in the Biden Presidency, when the Democrats finally realized that the “Illegal Invasion at our Southern Border” was very unpopular with the majority of American voters, President Joe himself said repeatedly that “he didn’t have the authority to close the border.” There was nothing he could do without legislation. That turned out to be a complete lie. Within days after Donald Trump’s inauguration, our new President was able to close the border in short order. As it turns out, it wasn’t that Biden “couldn’t shut the border,” it was that Joe and the Democrat Party Did Not Want To!  This is one of those issues in which the vast majority of America’s electorate believes in “Legal Immigration,” but wants the border closed to the “Illegal Invasion” flooding our communities with unvetted people who don’t “assimilate,” obey or respect our laws.  The Democrats Just Can’t Govern!

Issue #2.) Inner City Crime. This has been a hot button issue for years for both Political sides. But for the people who live in these “War Zones” like Chicago, New York, Detroit, Los Angeles – and until a few weeks ago, Washington, D.C. – these issues are “life and death.” The irony is that these same people keep voting for the “incompetent and corrupt Democrats” who keep their communities “Unsafe and Violent Hell-Holes” where no one in their right mind would want to live. Just like Illegal Immigration, the Democrats insist that “you’ll always have crime, there’s just nothing we can do!”

Again, President Donald Trump has proven them to be “pathological liars.” In just a few weeks, what he’s accomplished in Washington, D.C., shows the complete “lie” that things cannot change.  Again, It turns out that it’s not that “crime can’t be stopped,” the sad fact is “the Democrat Party Doesn’t Want To Stop Crime!” Recently we’ve seen multiple black residents of Chicago and other violent Democrat-run cities “beg President Trump to come to their city and stop the violence and crime.” The Democrats Just Can’t Govern!

Issue #3.) Free Speech as protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.  Many years ago, a different Democrat Party, championing “Free Speech” – especially when it disrespected the American Flag, Jesus or other tenets of the Christian Faith – told us that we can’t police speech, everyone has a right to think and speak in any fashion they wish. At the time they were fond of saying: “I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll fight to the death for your right to say it!”  For today’s Woke-Marxist-Democrat-Party, those days are long gone. Today, if they don’t agree with your speech, they will:  Cancel, Censor or Kill you!  Many voices were squelched during the 2016 and 2020 Elections, and many more discredited and censored over a legitimate concern for the Covid Hysteria and Forced Vaccinations!  Using USAID moneys, many of these “heavy-handed Tech Giants” Canceled dissenting voices outright or prevented them from speaking, using phony “fact checkers.”

A courageous voice for “Free Speech and Truth,” Charlie Kirk, was killed on September 10, 2025. Make no mistake, they didn’t defend his right to speak, they called him “Hitler and Fascist,” often times denying him access to college campuses where he patiently and respectfully dialogued with those who disagreed with him. In the end, either through subterfuge or stirring up some misguided soul, they created an environment in which an honest, decent man like Charlie was murdered. Charlie was also a fearless champion for Christian values and a return to Faith in Jesus Christ.  America not only lost a champion for Free Speech, but a champion for Faith and a return to America’s Christian roots. This erosion of values hasn’t happened in a vacuum. We’ve been a spiritually dumbed-down populace since the turbulent 1960’s. And while there are other forces driving the changes, the Democrat Party and their minions in Public Education, have dumbed-down an entire generation of young people. Many in this current generation are incapable of thinking for themselves, but they will blindly follow and hate!  Again, The Democrats Just Can’t Govern!

The biggest irony is: I could show you videos of Democrats saying the exact opposite of their current positions. A Democrat Party that once spoke vehemently against “illegal immigration” in language identical to that of President Trump – now champions policies and schemes to caravan millions across our border illegally. And, once upon a time, the Democrat Party in all the “Big-Blue-Violent-Cities” across our fruited plains, campaigned, promising they would stop crime and lock up “career criminals” like Decarlos Dejuan Brown Jr.  Brown attacked a helpless 23-year-old immigrant Iryna Zarutska – stabbing her in the neck, then leaving while she bled out and died – while others on the subway didn’t even lift a finger to help. Our culture has become “heartless, cold and unfeeling.” Violence and death are glorified in Movies, Television and Entertainment.” Showing kindness, helping and loving our neighbor is for a long-gone era. The only hope of governing ourselves is to pray for a “Revival of Faith, Family, Freedom and Justice.” We’ve watched as several generations since World War II have abandoned the Church of Jesus Christ. No longer are children taught the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”  Today, it’s kill or be killed.

My prayer is that God would grant us a reprieve, once again making Christian values, and law and order acceptable. Without public virtue, and a return to Faith, Family and Freedom – we will never be able to govern ourselves.
