The Epstein Files: “One War At A Time!”

Compromise and Capitulation Are Not The Same!

By Richard Allen – July 14, 2025

In his run-up to the Presidential Election, Donald Trump made several campaign promises. And unlike most politicians, he has already fulfilled many of them – with plans to fulfill all of them. That’s the kind of leader he is, and it’s part of the reason why traditional politicians loathe him:  He actually means what he says!  While this is a refreshing breath of fresh air, Trump has come up against one campaign promise that he’s having trouble keeping:  “To release the Jeffrey Epstein list of blackmailed politicians” – that is, those “well-connected-wealthy-elite”  from every walk of life that Epstein flew  to his famous abode, Epstein Island – all to have sexual flings with underage girls. Most knowledgeable investigators believe that Mr. Epstein was running a very sophisticated “honey trap” operation, filming many dignitaries, politicians and influential people from the world of Industry, Finance and Corporate America having sexual relations with underage children. Even a threat to release this information makes the targets of this “honey-pot” operation very controllable and compliant to whatever Epstein and his benefactors desired.

So, in an effort to return America to a moral, virtuous rule of law – not only Donald Trump, but several of Trump’s key cabinet officials in Law Enforcement, promised there would be a “reckoning” with those men and women rumored to be on the Epstein client list. And for the past six years there has been wide speculation that Jeffrey Epstein did not commit suicide in the Metropolitan Correction Center in New York in August 2019. It’s also been implied that Jeffrey Epstein was a CIA asset, which would explain the “deals cut” to keep him from prosecution over the past 20 years.  Needless to say, Jeffrey Epstein is widely considered a “sleaze-bag” who was sexually abusing children and trafficking them to the “well-connected-wealthy-elite” in Western society. It’s easy to see why he was “Public Enemy Number 1,” and why Republican Lawmakers have been adamant to see those who used Epstein’s services brought to justice. But a funny thing happened on the way to unveiling of the Epstein List by Trump’s Department of Justice and FBI: It appears that either the Epstein Files and incriminating evidence is gone, or the Trump Administration is having second thoughts about “outing” dozens or more of the “well-connected-wealthy” patrons of Epstein Island. What’s going on? What could possibly prevent Trump’s “Law and Order” Administration from making this list public?

While I don’t have inside information, I do believe that the three people who have been most vocal about revealing and punishing Epstein’s “Black-Mailed-Subjects,” Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino (pictured above) – now all appear to be “back-peddling.” I should say that from personally following and listening to all three of these public servants for many years, I just don’t believe they are being“ deceitful.”  But something has clearly happened over the past several months to change their responses, causing many others and myself concern. I believe there are five distinct possibilities that would explain their actions: 1.) These three cabinet officers (Bondi, Patel, Bongino) are just another batch of insincere politicians who “talk the talk,” but don’t “walk the walk. 2.) They have reviewed new information since coming into office that has changed their minds3.) The corruption among the “well-connected-wealthy-elite” is far worse and more widespread than anyone imagined, and releasing the list and prosecuting those involved, will be much harder than anyone comprehends. 4.) It’s in the interest of the American people to keep a lid on this information for now, or possibly, forever. 5.) There are foreign countries for which Jeffrey Epstein worked, which are involved, and can’t be “outed” for security and diplomatic reasons.

I might be showing my bias, but considering #1.) – that all three are another set of disingenuous and insincere hacks seeking their own aggrandizement – is just not a realistic possibility – although I’m sure that many “left-leaning-RINO-Republicans” are already calling for Bondi’s dismissal. Nothing in any of these three public servants’ past even remotely implies that they are just in it for themselves.  I think that all three would honestly admit that public service comes at a high price tag. They are doing amazing things behind the scenes to restore public trust in our Justice System and the Agencies that police and defend the public good. #2.) – is a more realistic possibility. Have they found out in the past six months that the Epstein Files have been wiped clean?  Or have they found out that there are no whistle-blowers willing to set the record straight about previous deals made by the government to protect Jeffrey Epstein and keep him from prosecution?  Have they discovered that Jeffrey Epstein “actually worked for the United States government” or other foreign actors, who may have had him killed?  Did they find out that it is the Government of “We the People” who are blackmailing bad guys for strategic reasons?  Congressman James Comer has already stated that the Epstein Files are gone. That sure seems like a possibility, mostly because keeping them had no upside.

I think many of us are convinced that #3.) – the “corruption” in the Deep State is so widespread and prevalent in our government’s halls of power that it would collapse the whole system to expose Epstein. This possible reason for the “flip-flop” of Bondi, Patel and Bongino may well be a contributing factor – no matter what other possibilities are found to be the primary motivation preventing the release of the Epstein List. As to #4.) – that the Trump team: Bondi, Patel and Bongino – along with the President himself – believe that it’s in the best interest of the American People to keep a lid on this information.  This possibility also has merit, but Trump making “a deal with the devil” – in essence, continuing a deal with the Deep State might completely unravel his presidency – even drive him from office.  If it’s argued that it’s in the best interest of the American people, the cap on much of this information has already been lifted, and many Americans have already formed their own opinions of Epstein and the political class, that is, the “well-connected-wealthy-elite.” I suppose that multiple major scandals and prosecutions would be difficult, met with “full-throated denials” by the guilty, and may not have as much political benefit as once thought.

If we add #5.) – that foreign governments and actors involved in the Epstein “Honey Trap Blackmail Operation,” it drives me to another possibility: “Taking down Epstein’s Blackmailed Clients and prosecuting them all to the full extent of the law just may be the wrong war for Trump and his team to be fighting right now. I’m not saying that it’s not worthy, or that it should be swept under the carpet, but it may be the “wrong war to fight with so many other important battles raging.” I believe that Trump’s Team can “walk and chew gum at the same time” – and they are!  They are “legally going after child trafficking rings and drug cartels, restoring the “rule of law” and looking to meet the immediate Chinese threat upon America and her people. But just like “battle-field” medicine, Trump and his team have to “triage,” that is prioritize the emergency field medicine they administer – to keep the patient alive.  During battle, you may have a wounded soldier with multiple shrapnel wounds to his legs and extremities, along with multiple abrasions and cuts that need to be sutured. A field medic has to prioritize which wounds and patients need immediate care, and which can be medicated and bandaged, delaying other patients’ procedures because their wounds are not an immediate threat. I’m reminded of an event that happened early during the Civil War to which President Abraham Lincoln was forced to respond.  It’s referred to as “The Trent Affair.”  Here’s a quick synopsis from Military History Now online:

“The Confederate States of America sought recognition and support from European powers, especially Britain and France. Understanding the critical nature of foreign alliances, Confederate President Jefferson Davis appointed James Mason and John Slidell as envoys to England and France. . .On November 7, 1861, the two diplomats boarded the British mail steamer Trent, intending to cross the Atlantic and make their case for formal recognition of the Confederacy.  However, as the Trent sailed through Bahamian waters, it encountered the USS San Jacinto, a Union warship commanded by Captain Charles Wilkes . . . . who acting on his own initiative  ordered the boarding of the Trent. Mason and Slidell were removed as prisoners, in what Wilkes deemed a necessary act to disrupt Confederate diplomacy. . . .  London’s response was swift and severe. Incensed by what it saw as an insult to its honor and neutrality, Britain demanded the immediate release of Mason and Slidell, along with an apology from the United States. . . . Her Majesty’s Government mobilized troops in its colonies in Canada, dispatching an additional 11,000 soldiers, readying its navy. . . . As tensions escalated, the Union risked a two-front war: one against the Confederacy and another with Britain, the world’s preeminent naval power. . . . . President Abraham Lincoln and Secretary of State William Seward were acutely aware of the potential consequences of the Trent affair. Lincoln famously commented, “ One war at a time,” underscoring his recognition of the need to avoid a costly and dangerous war with Britain.”  [ https://militaryhistorynow.com/2024/11/03/the-trent-affair-how-an-1861-diplomatic-crisis-nearly-brought-britain-into-the-u-s-civil-war/]

In the end, Lincoln was wise in deciding to release the Confederate envoys. There wasn’t much to be gained, and pulling Britain into our Civil War wouldn’t have helped his effort to preserve the Union. I also think President Lincoln’s wise words apply to our current circumstances surrounding the Epstein Files and prosecution of his clients in our own country and abroad. It may very well be a timing issue, that certain prosecutions have to happen first before they can tackle the Epstein Clients and their crimes. Again, some people just can’t understand “how sausage is made” in a fallen world of flawed men and women.  Nor can they grasp how to “triage” in battle.  Make no mistake, this country is in a war for its very soul. So much good has been accomplished over the past six months, we owe Trump and his team the “benefit of the doubt.” I believe that Trump, Bondi, Patel and Bongino fully intend to see that justice is served – not only regarding the criminal clients of Jeffrey Epstein, but the victims of his “Honey Trap Operation.” It’s obvious to anyone watching, that none of these four public servants are comfortable with what’s going on. Their actions for now may just be a necessary compromise, and not a capitulation to evil or to the Deep State.  Time will tell.

In closing, it’s quite interesting to see some supporters discredit Trump so quickly, or proclaim that he has betrayed the MAGA Movement. That’s actually most absurd! To borrow a phrase from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in one of his Sherlock Holmes’ mysteries: “This is the dog that didn’t bark.” The loudest complaints are coming from Trump’s base supporters, Not the Democrats!  That speaks volumes of what’s really going on. If any part of the Epstein Files would have hurt Trump, the Biden Whitehouse would have released them long ago.  Remember, God has guaranteed us that “the truth will ultimately prevail, and every wrong will be made right.”  I have to believe there are very good reasons why the Epstein crimes are being shelved.  Let’s not allow President Trump or his team be forced to do something that is “Not in the Best Interest of America or her people.”  Have faith that the “right will prevail.”  For now, we would be wise to heed Lincoln’s words:  “One War At a Time!”

Soli Deo Gloria!
