The Making of Yet Another Democrat Assassin!

Bribed, Blackmailed & Brainwashed: “Why Are So Many of America’s Young Men Radicalized?” – Part #24 By Richard Allen – May 18, 2026

For the past 25 years since the attack on 9/11 on the ‘World Trade Center’s Twin Towers,’ we have asked the question ad infinitum – ad nauseum!  “Why have young Muslim Men become so ‘radicalized?’  And not just ‘radical in their beliefs,’ but pushed to where they feel ‘compelled to horrendous violence toward other people’s lives and suffering?’  Crazy as it sounds, there are similar forces at work in Western Societies – including  America. Knowing history, I do think there is a case to be made for all this radicalization having the same source:  “Marxist Hegemony around the world.” It’s clear from actual history, that the Soviet Union was a major force in funding radical Islamic forces in the Middle East. Marxism is based on ‘fomenting revolution through conflict.’ That’s foundational Marxism. Stir up envy and hatred between classes of people: ‘Haves and have-nots’ or ‘by races’ or now – even by ‘sexual dysfunction.’ I’m not sure I can fully address all these questions in one Blog, but I do have several observations as a Christian thinker, that I think will help our understanding – especially with the latest attempt to assassinate President Trump by a very successful and prosperous ‘Teacher of the Year,’ Cole Tomas Allen! This young man obviously had TDS – Trump Derangement Syndrome!

I wish I could say that Cole Tomas Allen is an ‘out[RA1] lier,’ but his ‘radicalization’ is what TDS looks like when acted out. Millions of young American males have been ‘brainwashed’ by communist influences in pop culture, to believe many things that are just not true. Couple that with the almost total ‘cultural illiteracy’ with which they are also infected, and you can see how their ‘brainwashing has been accomplished.’ Young men are told they need to apologize for their toxic masculinity, that all of them are ‘rapists’ and need to be more like girls. This sorry state wasn’t achieved overnight, it took us several generations since World War II to change our culture and thinking in America. So, in reflection, I believe there are at least six major reasons why young men are being radicalized with TDS:  

1. The Failure of all “post-Christian” Western Cultures – since the dawn of the Age of Communist Feminism having ‘no positive male role models, plus destructive government policies’ disenfranchising both potential fathers and mothers from God’s model for marriage.

2. The Failure of the Family – that is, parents who have not taught their sons and daughters Biblical Manhood and Biblical Womanhood, and what it means to live as God designed in the ‘Creation Ordinance.’

3. The Failure of the Church – to model and teach Biblical Masculinity as God has ordained.

4. The Failure of our Education System – to help raise boys into real men. Sadly, American educators are promoting the ideology of Feminism: Toxic masculinity, child rearing is for ‘baby breeders,’ and boys need to be intellectually castrated to make them submissive.

5. Two generations of “Toxic Propaganda” from the Media Elite – who control virtually all of our Entertainment Industry.

6. Most people in our current American culture – “want to be liked and thought to be cool” by the majority.

Over the past two millennia since the ‘Ascension of Christ on Pentecost,’ there have been numerous forces that have competed for the allegiance of mankind, Christianity clearly being the major force. But along with the influence of the Gospel of Christ, three other ideologies dominate our world: ‘Islamic Conquest, Marxist Revolution and the Love of Money and Power.’  That may sound strange – adding ‘The Love of Money and Power’ – but truthfully, ‘it’s the Love of Money and Power’ that fuels ‘Islamic Conquest’ and ‘Marxist Revolution.’ I’m sure that each makes a pretense of ‘altruistic motives,’ like – care for the poor or equal distribution of resources, even going to paradise with 72 Virgins – but these motives are all built on the appetites of fallen men and women. The Apostle John warns us about the allure of the world system. Here’s how the New Living Translation explains this love of Money and Power:

“For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world” (1 John 2:16).

Sadly, the above verse covers just about everything in the Cole Tomas Allen saga. Cole came from a stable home where he never wanted for anything. He had achieved success as a teacher, even receiving the accolades of his peers. Ironically, Allen was raised by two teachers who homeschooled him, later sending him to Caltech to become a Mechanical Engineer. He took part in a local Lutheran Church, leading Bible Studies with other college students. But from his Facebook posts and online presence, he was clearly very liberal. Voicing opposition to President Trump, Cole supported the Ukraine War and opposed the War against Iran. I have to wonder what type of “woke gospel” the 31-year-old Cole believed, that led him to think ‘killing the president’ was his only option.

Reading his “manifesto” (¹ see link below), makes it clear that Cole Tomas Allen was a product of the Legacy Media’s propaganda. In fact, more than one commentator has noticed that his ‘manifesto’ reads like a ‘nightly news report’ on CNN or MS NOW!  The fact is –‘he was all in for the war in Ukraine, believed that Trump was controlled by Russia and was totally opposed to the War in Iran.’ That this nation has repeatedly attacked the United States for 47 years – tells us volumes!  Knowing there are always differing opinions, one thing is clear: Cole Tomas Allen swallowed every lie the Media told him!

People who knew him described him as a ‘Godly Christian.’ But the question has to be asked:  “What kind of Christian takes up the ‘sword’ to kill another man or woman in the hope of doing good?” History is filled with those who ‘killed in the name of Jesus,’ but, I cannot think of one I would confirm as a real Believer.  Jesus prohibited His followers from ‘taking up arms in His defense’ (see John 18:36). And the New Testament Apostles and Prophets make it clear that 'the weapons of our warfare are not physical' (2 Corinthians 10:4). I do believe that governments have the right and duty to defend their citizens. They are responsible to God ‘to bear the sword’ as Paul instructs the Church in Rome – fully  acknowledging Caesar’s authority (Romans 13:4), but these are ‘not the weapons given to the Church!’  The Church is only given the ‘Sword of the Spirit,’ which is the Word of God. This is the only offensive weapon given to the Church:

“We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).

What is completely sad is: Cole Tomas Allen will now spend the rest of his life in prison for one attempted act of violence. Many other antagonists are equally to blame for his actions, then feign innocence, saying: ‘We’re just exercising our First Amendment rights!’ Of course, I’m talking about many of the forces listed in my list above. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to elicit sympathy for a man who intended to do evil. No, he needs to be punished to the full extent of the law. But there is a sadness in my heart for young American men who have been so ‘Brainwashed’ that they are willing to perform actions they might think heroic – but which are being done for the cause of great evil. We live in an age of famine:

“Look! The days are coming, declares the Lord God, when I will send a famine throughout the land – not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but rather a famine of hearing the words of the Lord” (Amos 8:11).

This famine has gripped most of our culture and sadly ‘much of the Church.’  We no longer ‘read, hear, know or obey the Word of God.’ This has allowed us to ‘call evil good, and good evil.’ It has also created a ‘generation which lacks feelings of sympathy, kindness, loyalty and honesty’ – and we’re paying a stiff price every day. I’m not saying all young men are evil.  But of the six causes I listed earlier – as to why young men are infected with TDS, I think the Third cause: The Failure of the Church – to model and teach Biblical Masculinity as God has ordained – is possibly the most important. At the minimum, it’s the one that we as Believers have the most control over. “What exactly was the gospel that Cole Tomas Allen was hearing that allowed him to think God would want him to kill an American president?" Men with misguided ideas looking to kill others – “thinking they’re serving God” – has been around since Jesus’ day (John 16:2).  As I mentioned above, this is not the Biblical message “once delivered unto the saints.”  No, it’s something else. It’s the misguided zeal of a ‘false professor’ who has no part or parcel in the Kingdom of God. Contrast 31-year-old Cole Tomas Allen with Charlie Kirk. Charlie actually engaged – peacefully – the ‘misguided Coles’ on American college campuses. Charlie not only preached ‘non-violence,’ but he practiced and exhibited a gracious spirit – even when speaking ‘truth to this lost generation.’ Just like Tyler Robinson who took Charlie’s life, Tyler and Cole didn’t hear the “True Gospel of Jesus, the Prince of Peace!”

Whether Cole’s motives were to ‘Stop Hitler’ (i.e. Trump), or just to become the hero for which the Media has been agitating, we may never know. While I can’t imagine that he planned this ‘assassination’ for the notoriety, I also understand that in our present evil age – some in the Democrat-State-Controlled-Media will make him into a ‘folk hero.’ What a sad testament to Cole’s generation in general, and to his value system in particular. My prayer is not just that the Democrat-State-Controlled-Media will restrain all the ‘hyperbole and vitriol’ coming from their nightly broadcasts, but that God would give us a Revival to end this horrible famine. There is only one cure for TDS – Trump Derangement Syndrome: ‘Faith in Jesus Christ, and a rekindling of Biblical Christianity in the home, school, workplace and culture!’
