VERDICT: “The Blind Watchmaker Killed Charlie Kirk!”

165 Years of False Information Has Yielded ‘Bitter Fruit’ for the West

I don’t really consider myself an intellectual – but I do have a tendency to “analyze” things. So, looking at the Charlie Kirk Assassination, as well as other recent acts of violence in our culture, it’s impossible not to want to know “why” bad behavior happens. We also want to know “where” it most often happens and “what” are the connections between the “why, where and what.”  If we follow these behaviors back to the ultimate source, it’s clear that “Adam and Eve’s Rebellion” in the Garden of Eden is the first cause of all man’s sin and behavior. But there are other causal reasons that have led to acts of violence and more of “man’s inhumanity to man” – which have had a major impact on our Western Culture. One such causal reason that must be considered is: The Darwinian Revolution in the 19^th Century and its impact on our current thinking here in Western Societies.

Russian author, Fyodor Dostoevsky, once said: 'If there is no God, everything is permitted.' This is an understatement! His observation was not only true in his day, but has become even more significant as our modern age has progressed. I’ve watched many Charlie Kirk videos these past years, and one thing completely jumped out at me as I listened to the “misguided” young adults.  They neither know anything about the Church’s influence on Western Civilization, nor do they really believe or follow science. They have been taught a myth that is so crazy and fruitless, that many of them have no understanding of their own lives or the meaning of life for anyone on the planet. This hopelessness always seems to point back to our “American Nihilism,” and young people’s beliefs in the “Blind Watchmaker!” This fallacy is the most ridiculous of all superstitions and myths. And as much as we laugh at the crazy myths of the origin of creation from Hindi and other eastern religions, it shows that “high-tech” western men and women are not immune from foolishness. You might say, “we’re so smart we won’t stand for important things, but end up falling for anything!”

The Blind Watchmaker,” as a rationale for the origin of life, is a philosophical myth posited by famed evolutionist Richard Dawkins. Here’s what he says on his own website:

“The watchmaker belongs to the eighteenth-century theologian William Paley, who made one of the most famous creationist arguments: just as a watch is too complicated and too functional to have sprung into existence by accident, so too must all living things, with their far greater complexity, be purposefully designed. It was Charles Darwin's brilliant discovery that put the lie to these arguments. But only Richard Dawkins could have written this eloquent riposte to the creationists. Natural selection – the unconscious, automatic, blind, yet essentially nonrandom process that Darwin discovered – has no purpose in mind. How sad, the Blind Watchmaker has “no purpose in mind,” and therefore no meaning, no right and wrong, just blind naturalistic forces devoid of love, pity or kindness. Just the cruel brutality of natural selection and species “fighting and dying, trying to survive.”  Survive for what reason, we’re never told. As I’ve written in a previous blog, today’s older and wiser(?) Richard Dawkins is not happy with his success at “scrubbing God from the public square,” especially in England and Western Societies.  He once thought that if he got rid of the “knowledge of a creator-god, science would take its place.” Little did Richard know, that the “Barbarian was waiting at the gates” to take the place of Christianity in the United Kingdom. Today, England is unrecognizable from its Christian past.  Muslim “rape-gangs” roam the city unrestrained, and Sharia Law courts are in the process of replacing English Law. Old Richard misses Christmas, the good cheer, and Christian Civility that he grew up with. But as we’ve seen in these past several weeks with the killing of Iryna Zarutska and Charlie Kirk, it’s clear that it’s not just the “Barbarian” at the gates, it’s the teaching of the “Blind Watchmaker” that has driven our Western cultures away from the Christian Gospel – to Insanity!

I’m indebted to Scientific Philosopher, Stephen Meyer, for his insights into the influence of three Nineteenth Century Men, whom Satan used to completely untether our culture from its Christian foundations, and subjugate us to the “false teachings of fallen men.” These three men are:  Charles Darwin, Karl Marx and Sigmund Freud.  These three men were part of a group of seven men whom author Dave Breeze called out in his excellent book: “7 Men Who Rule The World From the Grave” (1990). No question, but Darwin, Marx and Freud were the moving forces behind the corruption of science and modern man’s rejection of the Gospel. As Dr. Meyer explains, Darwin wrongly told us “where we came from” (nothing); Marx told us “where we were going” (a glorious man-made utopian future); and Freud helped us deal with our guilt for Sin (it’s always someone else’s fault). If you just think of the answers these men left us, you’ll understand why our current generation of young men and women have no sense of right or wrong, no compassion, no restraint and no remorse for their actions. 

Charles Darwin – taught us that we came “from nothing and for no real purpose.” Life itself was a giant meaningless struggle for “apparently nothing.” After Darwin’s “Origin of the Species” was published, there was some initial excitement over the “scientific hunt” to figure it all out. But flash forward 200 years to today, after we’ve taught “Nihilism” to several generations of young people, and we have many young men and women who’ve been indoctrinated by so-called “higher learning.”  Better than 55% of them believe it’s OK to use “violence” against those with whom you disagree. Nihilism’s Dictionary definition is: “The rejection of all religious and moral principles, in the belief that life is meaningless.”

Karl Marx – taught that if man could just put the right system in place, a place where the workers controlled the “means of production,” then the playing field would be leveled fairly – ushering in a “paradise on earth.” Sad to say, like Darwin’s delusions -- Marx’s utopian dreams have never materialized, Anywhere – though men have tried repeatedly. The best estimates are over 130 Million dead in the past century from Marxism’s failures. Marx was completely in agreement with Darwin’s “survival of the fittest.” At Marx’s Funeral, his collaborator – Friedrich Engles stated:

“Just as Darwin discovered the law of evolution in organic nature, so Marx discovered the law of evolution in human history.”[ https://darwinthenandnow.com/darwin-on-marx/]

You would think when the “Berlin Wall” finally fell, as did the Soviet Union, Karl’s Dream of a Socialist-Communist Utopian State would die along with it.  But Communism is still alive in the most populated country on earth (China) and across much of Western Europe and the United States.  It’s the favorite failed political system of the Elite Intelligentsia that populate American College Administrations and Faculty.

Sigmund Freud – was the father of “modern psychology.”  In many ways, Freud did more damage to the world than either Darwin or Marx. Freud’s teachings were a direct challenge to the tenets of Scripture – and he knew it.  He considered himself a “godless Jew” who rejected the God of both the Old and New Testaments.  Some have mistakenly thought that Freud believed in man’s fallen state. Rather, he believed that all men – as descended from apes, had evolved with passions and sexual desires – consuming them from birth.  Since all human societies restrain men’s passions and desires using the norms of religion, custom and law, he had an intense hatred toward the concept of God. For Freud, man’s Conscious Self (the Ego), was in a constant struggle with his Raw Desires (the Id) and his Superego (the Conscience). Struggling with “guilt for sin,” Freud told men they were not to blame for their actions; they were just a result of ongoing struggles through which man had evolved. And these struggles led to mental instability and illness. Sadly, several entire generations of children have been raised in the ‘Church of Freud’ with no blame or concept of sin or wrongdoing. It should be no wonder that we live in a world where men are taught to give full reign to evil desires, while the Elite professionals in Medicine and government excuse their bad behavior.

All the theories of these three men – Darwin, Marx and Freud have left us without any sense of God, right and wrong and fear of a coming judgment. The great “Woke Movement” of the 21^st Century has been built on the concepts of Darwin, Marx and Freud.  When Tyler Robinson planned and executed Charlie Kirk, it was the fruit of almost two centuries of teaching the “meaninglessness of life” to confused young adults – “not grounded in God’s Eternal Truth.”  As Richard Dawkins told us: “Natural selection – the unconscious, automatic, blind, yet essentially nonrandom process that Darwin discovered – has no purpose in mind.” It will not surprise me as months and years go by – to discover that Tyler Robinson had “no natural affection, no remorse and no consciousness” regarding his actions.  Decarlos Brown Jr. stated twice that “I killed me a white woman,” a clear reference to racist motives. No sense of guilt, no remorse, no pity – just the purposeless existence that a “Blind Watchmaker” created by happenstance.

In closing, let me remind my readers:  There is a God in Heaven who will call men to account for their sins. There will be a day when the “Righteous Judge of All Mankind,” Jesus Christ, will judge in righteousness:

“He will render to each one according to his works: to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek” (Romans 2:6-10).
